Sweetlysung: I think YOUR comments have been slightly slanderous, and it is quite interesting you suddenly aboutface on all the other comments you have made on this forum. Both BillyT & Noelene are very nice people, and I reiterate exactly what Mark & Kim have said, go to their show, meet them properly, and see how much hard work they put into their show.
Bottles of alcohol given away, karaoke discs, bunches of flowers, I dont see too many other shows around the place that do this for their singers. And as far as playing favourites go, they run one of the fairest rotations I have seen.
If your remarks on being told the night was full, then obviously you put a song too late in the night, this is quite common place at most karaoke shows, once the nights final rotation is done, then quite obviously they cannot fit you in. The people who have been there all night supporting the show are generally the ones that get to finish the night off.
Lastly, the Fox & Hound is a great venue, Roy as the manager of the venue is one of the ONLY managers I have seen post comments on W2S, and even went to the KWC finals to support the people from his venue. I think this shows the commitment both BillyT & Roy have for their patrons.
I think you really need to get your facts straight before you come into a national forum making slanderous remarks against a venue & an operator whom you know nothing about.
Maybe it was yourself having a bad night that night in question!
