| From the Where2sing.com forum: I don't know about the ' water drinkers' M.A , I've been going to ' open mic & / or muso's nights ' since the mid 70's and I've always seen these people drink more than most karaoke crowds lol and for that matter occasionally partake in other things that take there fancy lol
For me being a musician first i personally enjoy these nights more than a night of karaoke and i wrote back about a year and a half ago that open mic nights are making a big come back and becoming very popular so I'm happy to see this is becoming the case Australia wide.
