Well finally I was able to drag my darling other half along to 2 wonderful karaoke gigs tonight. We had a great meal at the band club. Chris grew up in inner west and is used to food the likes of Norton Street Leiechardt, he is very fussy. Well he was very impressed with the food there! Thumbs up! Took the kids along. God I forget how much faster you have to eat when you have the kids with you! Mine are aged 4 and 2 1/2 and they are fantastic kids. Little Matthew, who is 2 1/2 is like a human cyclone! Keeps me on my toes, never still
Jacob, my 4 year old said once we finished dinner at Band Club, 'Ok Mummy your turn to sing' awww God love him.
The kids were happy when we took them over to Brewhouse so they could play on the equipment and hubby could chat to his mates who had met up with him there too.
Pat n Ray - Sorry was not able to come sit with you guys very long/at all! As you could see I had my hands full, and didnt wanna leave Chris in the other room thinking my karaoke family are more important than him lol
He was happy to see you and say Hi and Bye on way out lol.
Hopefully next week I will be at both venues and able to sing and toddler free!
Joan - Jacob said when I was tucking him in tonight, 'I was a little bit shy of that lady with the hat' lol (am sure you know what I mean)
Oh and Pat, Jacob also told me he was shy of Darrall too, but then once we got to the car, he said he remembered playing with Darralls doggy and his match box cars at one point when we were over at his place last year. So suddenly he was ok and not scary anymore lol
