| From the Where2sing.com forum: I think its great when singers like TMOZ are able to do this yet with a humble approach. It really adds to and lifts the whole night and encourages the audience to think Wow, this could be way better than a concert experience. At my local, I throw in 'Chasing Cars' to almost the same effect and the audience reaction ( dropping of glasses, silencing and total attention etc ) is what makes it worthwhile.
For me, someone not overly fond of Opera, the great thing about TMOZ's version was that it was his and it wasn't boring. To be able to pull that off in a rock venue like Peakhurst is one niffy trick. Well done, and if you end up with a gig in the inner west be sure to FB spam it my way :)
