| From the Where2sing.com forum: Joan and I have Just been informed that Saturday 20th September 2008 will be the last Karaoke Show at St Marys RSL. It's really sad as Karaoke has been running there every fortnight for the last 18 years. The reason the Karaoke and the Show Nights are going, is that the Club is suffering financially. I've said it before the State Government is killing it's 'cash cow ' with all it's taxes. We would love to see as many of our old friends on the night as possible, to personally thankyou for all your support over the 8.5 years that Joan and I have worked there, so let's go out with a bang on the 20th.
