From the Where2sing.com forum:

TMOZ you did a great job of To Hell With The Devil and guitar playing sounded excellent.
We end up with three people doing Guitaraoke.
I had a few emails from several people (especially one from Ally on behalf of her boyfriend Leigh) pleading to retain the Guitaraoke and offering to pay for any additional costs or too help me set it up each time it was on.
She is so sweet that I’ve decided to keep it for the rest of the year (once a month).
TMOZ sorry the CD didn’t work in the car if it doesn’t work then please give me a yell as I have kept the originals.
Good luck for Friday night and say hi to JC on Sunday for me, I think he still remembers me :)

David the Guitaraoke discs that I brought have only been used about 3 times.
Most people just play along to either there own songs or to just one of my ordinary Karaoke disc.
I think the reason that it hasn’t been that successful at Peakhurst Inn is that at Peaky it is a younger crowd and they are only interested in singing/drinking and talking to their mates, a midweek social gathering.
There are also those that play only Bass and again don’t really want to play.
I have emailed several local Guitar stores and teachers and again received little to no response.
If I was to hold a Guitaraoke Competition I suppose it would work but it’s not worth the worry.
With around 30 something singers each week (and one guy complaining that he had to wait 2 hours to sing) its just doesn’t add anything to the Show apart from being something different.
