| From the Where2sing.com forum: It could easily be said, with such an addictive hobby like Karaoke that we have a tendency towards selfishness, I mean how many of us have 'excused' ourselves out of a family occasion so we don't miss out on our regular Karaoke fix lol???
Lets face it how much time do we spend, travelling to,being at, waiting in line,practicing & spending money on Karaoke and of course don't we like talking about it, W2S chat forums testify to that.
Yes it could be said we are a selfish lot (lol) however not one of us can deny (without a couple of exceptions) that there is not a better social welcome and commaraderie than at a Karaoke Night!
It is I believe through this 'uniqueness' that Karaoke people are of 'good heart' & I am proud to be associated with all of them and I also have confirmed when needed they will apply their talents in the name of Charity!
Kyle,Kimmi,Robbie and Polly, these names will mean very little to most, however on the 23rd Nov 2008 will head up a Charity Fund Raiser Rock Revival for WA AIDS Council @ one of my Venues all their time & talent including the 'nicest' KJ in WA is FREE!
