| From the Where2sing.com forum: Oh Yes LB , i fully agree , they are most important ( K.E's ) to a host , and i dare say that some hosts loose sight of this yet there is another thing to remember too , that yes for young hosts ( or young at heart hosts ) starting out in the industry , they must build there K.E fan base and indeed they may only find one K.E this week or 2 the next week and so on BUT !! if they do the right thing soon they will have many ' REAL ' names in there book that they can rely on to enhance there shows , this takes time and effort
And thus they will soon find that they can go to potential New venues and say to the manager ....( for example ) I have 50 + REAL customers that will visit the venue if you employ my services ....
You watch the managers ' ears ' point up lol , they love hearing that !!!
So 'newies ' and those that need a ' jolt ' there is alot of reward for the host that ' goes the extra mile ' for the customers
