| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi MB.......karoke is NOT just about karaoke singers.....and I have said it many times before..probably to ad nasuem (spelling)....its all about entertainment and crowd involvement.......you dont really need regular karaoke addicts to make a show a success,,,,,last night we worked the Stanley hotel in Kilcoy (Country QLD) and guess what ....not a regular single Karaoke singer amongst the lot...and a crowd of 100 or so ppl all staying till the bitter end (and beyond)......my point is ....once we as Karaoke operators can lose the mentality of thinking that Karaoke is for Karaoke singers and their friends.... and as such start to consider our selves as entertainers first and foremost.everything else falls into place.....just my oppinion..;-)
