| From the Where2sing.com forum: I don't get it.Belvederes seems hell bent on playing musical chairs with the KJs. They have been shifted to and from every corner in the rather small venue.
One good thing at last, though. that is that the management have provided the audience an 'idiot board' as it is known in the industry, so any member of the audience can SEE the lyrics being sung.
This (I wonder how many people have thought of this),gives many people in that audience the chance to make a better informed descion as to whether or not they feel that they feel confident enough to have a go at singing any song that they would otherwise be on the verge of asking them selves, 'can I do this one ,or not?'This then has ,at least with me,has given me, the needed confidence to sing many sonngs that I otherwise woudn't have had the nerve to have a go at.
I've always appreciated those screens ,to enable me to keep on broadening my repetoire of songs.I can see and hear that much of the audiences at the various venues that I perform at,feel the same way.There is nothing more boring than a performer who will only do the same two or three songs each time they appear, even if they do them well, well I feel that way.
