A man was stabbed during a fight at a Sydney karaoke bar early today, the second such attack in a month.
Up to 40 men were reportedly involved in the brawl at the karaoke lounge on Dixon Street, Haymarket, about 3.30am, police say.
A 24-year-old man was stabbed and was taken by ambulance to hospital for a minor head wound and deep cuts to his right arm, police said.
A 33-year-old man was also treated in hospital for a chipped tooth and cuts to his lower lip.
Police arrested a 23-year-old man and seized several items from the club, including a Stanley knife.
The man was taken to City Central police station where he was charged with affray.
He was granted bail and will appear in Downing Centre Local Court on January 12.
Police said they are continuing with inquiries in a bid to identify the person responsible for the stabbing.
On November 7, an 18-year-old man was stabbed outside a karaoke club on Dixon Street in Chinatown after he went to break up a fight.
