| From the Where2sing.com forum: Since you sent me a request from the 'Add a Gig' section to add a new venue, I'm pretty sure you're in the correct section. But you were searching for the gig by using a wrongly formatted phone number - if you search again by referring to my previous email reply to you, you will see the venue that you were asking me to list.
I copied the venue's details to you in my email so that you can see it easily in the list. If you can't see it, just click the link again to ask me to add it (don't bother to give me the details again, just say 'hi') because that will also give the info of what you're putting in your 'search' boxes.
When you see the venue, select it from the list, and then add your gig details. If you get stuck at some stage there, please tell me where you get stuck and why.
It's a pretty straightforward process, and I think you've listed gigs before, so apologies if I'm missing something obvious here. What's puzzling me is why you would think this gig is listed as a result of your actions when you've been unable to find the venue in the list in order for you to add the gig - sending me the gig info doesn't get the gig listed, because what I do is to add the venue (or in this case tell you how to search differently for it so you can find it) so that you can return to the 'Add a Gig' section to add your gig.
But as LB says, remember that a 'venue' is the hotel or club that you search and find in the 'Add a Gig' section. And that a 'gig' is the gig information that you add to that 'venue'. It is then 'gigs' that appear in the Gig Listings.
