Kev, I 'm lucky maybe that last year I didnot have a situation where I had to adhere to normal rotation. I mean where i do my karaoke show last year (click on to my gigs) It is small place. The most was 20 singers and with that only 8 or 10 put in 3songs.it means that however i played with the rotation everyone of this singers would be up in no time again. I have locals only too. I have not heard any complaints from in or out of that pub.
I am now hosting my other gig and mind you the first night was overwhelming. You know what I hand pick the first five singers. Like I said 10 out of 10 I would try to present a balance show acc. to me not acc. singers . If the pub mgr. came up and discuss to a problem arising from that then I'll make a little compromise.
I am very sure that so many hosts out there do the same. we here are the minorities.
Kev this is just the way i do my business and again You are different , he is diff. and she is diff. . No offense but none of You come to my show anyway, thers no chance that I can upset You.
