I think now we are talking with sense. With the scenario described,I would not be happy if was hosting it. The bigger the venue the more leverage I have to play with or experiment with. Let's say the place has got 60 singers,A lot of people want to dance but of course I can't put some dance breaks. I would not just go with the flow, let it happen, just call the names one after the other, easy. Not for me . I would hand pick songs,or group some dancing song that way you are creating a livelier scenario. Of course by doing that , the queqe would be altered a little bit. the singers would not even notice the changes. they don't have to know. Not unless the singers trained you. Of course it is a case to case basis.
