This is going to be a rather long post...so please forgive me and bear with me O.K.? I promise I will get to the point...eventually!

My name is David and I new am to this Forum! I am a very open-minded, very outgoing, very friendly and likeable single, 56
year-old Guy from Box Hill North, in Melbourne! As I said, I am single and also a Dad of a now 20 year-old Son, who is so busy with his OWN social life that I hardly ever see him...but that's O.K., he's doing his 'thing' and that's fine by me!
BUT...I am MYSELF in need of some social life, as for years now...all I do is: Go to work...eight hours there...come home...watch T.V. or a DVD...go to bed...get up...go BACK to work and REPEAT that cycle five days a week, Monday to Friday! On the weekend, I find myself BY myself...pottering around the house...spending countless HOURS on the computer and doing very little else, except maybe some shopping, chores around the house, or maybe go to a movie...AGAIN, by myself!
I need to 'get a life'! Here's where Karaoke comes in and YOU GUYS READING THIS...may be able to help me!?
I have been a 'singer' for years and (patting myself on the back here) have a good voice and considerable experience in the
'Entertainment Industry' and also considerable KARAOKE experience...but have been 'out of it' for some years now!
I think that getting involved in a 'Karaoke Group'...an existing GROUP of people (if there IS one?) would be a great way to me to meet new people and have some 'singing fun' to boot!
NOW...from correspondence with 'others', I know that people tend to just go along to Karaoke Venues on their own or maybe with a friend or two...but what I am looking for is an 'organised' GROUP...if you follow...sort of like a 'Club'...with REGULAR Members that
regularly do their thing (Karaoke) AS a group...say with 20 to 30 Regular members (or even more!).
I would LOVE to make contact with such a 'Group' if one exists and would be happy for people to make contact with me by either of the following means: eMail me at: (contact details removed).
Bear in mind that I live in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne...Box Hill North, to be precise!!
