At the Knox Club we do run with a group of approx 25 members. We have all met thru Karaoke and some of us have been in the group from day one back in 1995. We sing once a month at aged and retirement homes. The criterias for joining are the $27 Knox Club membership and then to join our subclub it is $15.00 per annum. Our anniversary, AGM etc is in the month of July.
It is not everybodies cup of tea and noone gets famous from it, but we enjoy what we do. There are older and younger than you but all love singing Karaoke and enjoying themselves. The youngest member being 24 yr and oldest probably about 68.
If you ever decide to come along to the Knox Club on Saturday nights - 8.30p.m. start, introduce yourself and I can give you further details on the group. We practice every second Wed unless we are not available. As I said it is not for everyone and we have had many people join and leave over the 13 years but we have a steady group of faithful members and as one leaves another joins.
