From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hi
Every host has favourites, as for me sometimes I would even use my mic to let everyone know that this person is the crowd's favourite and thus automatically becomes one of my favourites. For me, to be one of my favs on my gig. a person/ singer has to be a) Good contributor to my gig's existence, good spender (b) bring his or her friends, neighbours or in other words be in a group (c) sings and have fun with the group, does NOT matter if she or he is a good singer, or an excellent singer.(d) most importantly my fav would remain respectable and not abusive or loud when singing.
(e) Last but certainly my favourite of them all, The locals.
On the other hand, My list of karaoke people that come last on my rotation.
1. Prima donna(s), I would NOT even press my applause button.
2. Water drinkers, comes to me often to check how far to his/ her turn
Call me I'm bad but yes, nowadays this person or singer will not come back to my gig. One song is all he gets . there is no second song for him or her.
3. A quote from last weeks e mail (Thanks to you David) 'those who bring their own discs and never hand money over the bar on the excuse that they are the designated driver, responsible for the show's success, performing a public service by singing, so good that they are there to show others how to sing, etc'. Karaoke people who fit these profile are last on my list as well.

These are my views and in no way posted to invite any argument with other host or karaoke people.
cheers
