| From the Where2sing.com forum: BJ: To comment on what's being said against one of your venues, perhaps the best thing to do with regards to counselling this host is to get them thinking about what they need to achieve throughout the night. So many hosts don't seem to approach things as if they were being given quarterly critiques but I think it would be helpful if they did. Don't have many singers to start with? What are you going to *do* to change that? A lot of 'twiddle-your-thumb' songs being requested? Again, what are you going to *do*? Too many people just set up and think that a show runs itself... Maybe if you get this host thinking along those lines it might bare fruit?
