Unfortunately it's probably not one that's shared by most Hosts and Venues. For you to sing 3, 4 or more a night, the assumption can be made that the karaoke show does not have many singers. So unless the show attracts a large non singing audience, the Venue may not consider having Karaoke a profitable affair.
On your point re hosts singing more than the 'paying customer', I agree wholeheartedly.
And your point about a 'dance mix' in the middle of the night, I agree as well, however it may not be the Host's idea. The Venue may have edicted that this is to occur.
In any case with all points, there is no wrong or right - what works at one venue may not work at another. The obvious answer is to pick the Venue to attend based on your personal requirements.
