From the Where2sing.com forum:

The problem is that I coded it specifically for Internet Explorer (6, I think), and modified it a little for Firefox. At that time, IE didn't conform to several standards in browser display, and so I had to decide between using the standard which would be fine for Firefox and others but not good in IE, or go with the IE variations and then mod it just enough to get it to work in Firefox. With IE then holding 85% or so of the market, I went that way.

Now it seems that later versions of IE are closer to the standard, and that other browsers manage to cope with some of IE's coding deviations, and so I'm caught between having to change it to accommodate later IE versions whilst still having something that's not quite standard and therefore not great for other browsers.

I'm waiting just a little longer to see where the next version of IE stands in relation to standard coding, and if it does adhere to the standard, that would make a great case for reviewing the programming. But at that point W2S is really going to need a complete overhaul as it'll have been a number of years since the original 'write', and almost everyone is now on broadband.

So in the meantime, I can do 'fixes' if the problems are not much and if the browser you want to use is becoming popular.

What happens when you try to access the gig comments? Or if you try to access via IE so that you can check the URL of that particular gig's comments and paste it into your Google browser? Is it just that Google doesn't respond to clicking the link or button that should open the gig comments - or something else?
