| From the Where2sing.com forum: thanx for the kroaky news, I had some kool and not so kool gigs over xmas. The kool gigs gave me greaeaeat satisfaction and kept me on a high for days, it makes all the hard work you put into it worthwhile and being an entertainer,what a feeling. But it appears some people, and it's happening more and more, won't sing till they "have more to drink" and while they're tanking themselves up they're singing over the person on stage with the mic, and when told they're annoying the singer they become angry and abusive. Then, as your announcing the last song, 'cause you've been going for the four hours you were hired to do, they want to get up and sing, well hallo not happening.
Yes it takes a while to break in a new venue, people will test you especially if your a couple of females.

Great to hear that your holiday season went well. I thought it was always the way that some people started drinking so they had enough courage to sing, then ended up too drunk to sing...
