| From the Where2sing.com forum: From the 'Ask David ' forum ......Uneducated singers ......God you only need to ask Wolf ( he's jobs are in the country , mostly remote areas ) , many patrons have had very little or no karaoke show experiance , country people can drink and drink , infact they make city drinkers look like church goers and no ones sings for the first 3and a half hours , but they love joining into songs from anywhere in the room except . the stage and you dare NOT sing anything BUT the pub songs ie...kha san / summer of 69 / american pie and so on heeehe , but really they are wonderful crowds to sing to and they love to be entertain , but as each person is well known in there towns they trend to take there time to relax and get up to sing , BUT last hour is just like being at the Victorian Fruit Market , so the best thing is to just put on the 'Aussie Pub Karaoke Fav 's ' and let them go for there life.....I call it the' Yobbo hour'
