| From the Where2sing.com forum: hi folks....back again after a interesting though no karaoke holiday visiting a farm with living, very happy, singing pigs....germs are everywhere....regular singers and hosts continue to do the alcohol gel wipo on the hands thingo....i do it for work too as i shake many hands and handle many products that end up on shelves...i wonder do microwaves kill bacteria?>...just a thought...not that I am going to put my hands in microwave ovens...one host always jokes with people returning from the toilet on the mike I hope u have washed your hands...always gets a laugh!...and hopefully a 'convincingly enough' nod. Disagree that any cover makes any real difference. Observing and timely cleaning is the best answer. Anyhow having withdrawals so heading off to karaoke.
I have found competition and normal (whats that?) karaoke are totally different events, dynamically.
Recently have found that karaoke is a great distraction to those with addiction issues.
