Whoever wrote that comment on the main wall needs to realize a few things...
1. Robin Hood Karaoke in Frankston on Wednesday nights is the LONGEST running Karaoke Show on the Peninsula and draws in a crowd of 100-150 EVERY week without fail. Also, please let it be known that DJPK was sacked as an equipment contractor from Robin Hood approx 5 years ago.
2. Beaches in Mornington is another GREAT venue on Wednesday nights which draws a GREAT crowd - unfortunately, the comment below mine is a little inaccurate, as Robin Hood in Frankston has been running for about 5 years now.- which makes Beaches the 2nd Longest running Karaoke Show which is also a great achievement!
3. Flanagan's in Frankston on a Tuesday has also been running for several years now, with the current host being there for at least 2 years now and is a very entertaining show with a great and friendly crowd!
4. DJPK and his enterouge have been trialed at many other venues on the Peninsula, and all of them ending after a few months, or being taken over by a different operator.
So please, don't bag out all the venues on the Mornington Peninsula, because you obviously have no idea or have never been to any of them and are just trying to plug a gig for yourself, or your boss.... and considering I know DJPK, and wouldn't think he would write something like that, I'll be pretty accurate to know exactly who wrote that! KK!
