| From the Where2sing.com forum: DJ PK is possibly the worst host I have come across alienating many singers and consistently being fired across the board. His shows are inconsistent, his past venues have either been rejected by the main hosts in this area or are on the verge of closing down. His arrogance is unappreciated and it is for this reason that he is unemployed.
The mornington peninsula has many well established and premium venues for Karaoke. I frequent beaches in Mornington and prior to this regularly visited Raffles at the Tanti Hotel til it was closed to the public.
The Grand I heard, in its day, had great nights also.
And then there is the Robin Hood Tavern if you like a young dynamic crown, Flannigans for a laid baid Tuesday night, The Cove for a party Saturday, The Seaford (some like it rough), the Western Port for a young funky crowd and more.
I have never been disappointed at one of DJ Shreks, Karaoke Kools or The Party Peoples shows.
It seems if these three can scout the best venues its indicative of the quality of the host moreso than than the quality and availability of venues.
