| From the Where2sing.com forum: Time to stir the pot.
It is with interest that I have read some Forum posts originating out of Victoria. It makes fascinating reading, but one could be led to believe there is a subtle form of advertising going on here.
It all started with an 'Boiling Point' item on the W2S front page stating that there was no decent Karaoke on the Mornington Peninsula, and following up with some commentary re a character called DJ PK.
Of the 9 posts, that quickly followed the Boiling Point article, in the General Forum on this topic, there was only one that mentioned any other gigs on the Mornington Peninsula. other than Karaoke Kool gigs. Note: There are several others. Almost all of the posts sang the praises of the Karaoke Kool gigs on the Mornington Peninsula.
It also appears that it prompted 4 entries in the gig comments area on Karaoke Kool gigs.
The single post on the Victorian Forum was a more rounded response and mentioned other gigs as well as Karaoke Kool.
I have no doubt that Karaoke Kool are doing a great job as they have gigs on almost every night of the week, and mostly these are long term.
However, one could be suspicuos though of the motive behind the original Boiling Point article, and the out pouring of support for Karaoke Kool gigs. - Coincidence or subtle advertising - You judge!
