As a novice in this field, my criteria is a good and fun loving host {who is also supportive of the singers}, fair rotation, good selection of songs if laptop only but if singers discs are allowed {then this is good as well}, a place where the food and drinks are of a good price, a good crowd of fun loving and supportive of all types of singers and the ability to have a good night without having to worry about the crowd getting to rough...
