* Featured gig is good, I'm curious to know if you experience a surge of pics being uploaded when you send out the 'your gig will soon be featured' email.

* When you open up the forums, it defaults to the General Forum. Would it be too hard to have a cascading set of preferences behind the scene so for instance, if there are only new posts in the State Forum, it will automatically open there? This is especially relevant when accessing the site on a mobile where selecting a drop down menu is a lot more of a laborious task than on a dedicated computer.
* There's a lot of content on the front page that simply doesn't interest me and I'm wondering whether it might be an idea to have the site more customisable for users. For instance, I might set my account preferences so that I am only interested in seeing comments (on the side bar, or featured gig) for gigs in my own state or elect to only see Boiling Point and not What I Love Most. The way people customise their accounts might give you a lot more feedback on how people use the site.
* Not sure of the reason, but is there a reason why paragraphing is possible in forum comments but not in gig comments? Since the junking of front page gig reviews, reviews of venues have ended up in gig comments and paragraphing would help make the text easier to read.
