| From the Where2sing.com forum: Yes, when I queue up the next few 'featured gigs' and the notification emails go out to those who control the gigs and those who have them in their Watched List, it generally spurs new photos.
There's a fundamental problem with viewing a website such as W2S on a mobile, and I'm considering that W2s.mobi will be a site with a completely different role and focus - for example, with geo-tagging, it really should start from the person's physical position. Anyway, at the present I'm still stock-taking W2S and deciding what is relevent and what is now obsolete.
The main page is a hangover from Web 1.0, and I agree has no place in today's user-centric site. And I agree that, after accessing W2S for the first time, that a user should be able to customise his main page - but what would you like to see on your front page (not necessarily limited by what's currently available on W2S, but adding anything else that you would want to put there)?
The gig comments section had paragraphing removed to make the comments easier to view. In the next version, I think the comments should be better integrated into the Gig Listings - in fact I want to re-think the whole design and process of the Gig Listings so that photos and feedback are a more integral item, perhaps more in the line of websites that list and rate hotels.
