He also seems to be quite muddled about the issue of copyright, believing that companies such as Sunfly pay millions of dollars - that's a heck of a lot of recorded music at just a few cents per track. And he seems to think that the original recording company is the only holder of copyright, with no thought that someone wrote the song, and often someone else wrote the lyrics.
There's so much publicity now about copyright infringement with Chinese factories copying Gucci handbags, Rolex watches and so on - I wonder why people don't connect that with music copying.
