| From the Where2sing.com forum: Interesting, and I researched that before making the W2S facility to upload photos. The legal answer is approximately that if you're in a public place, then anyone has the right to photograph you. A karaoke gig is a public place, and therefore you cannot reasonably object if someone photographs you, and even uploads it to a website - however, you do have a range of other legal remedies available should they add a caption that is untruthful, misleading or intended to damage your reputation etc.
The moral answer to your question is that websites should have a 'takedown clause'. W2S has one, and I have removed a number of photos over the last couple of years at people's request.
