My point would be legal or not if we all download one song and pay to format shift to numerous hard drives how does this help our industry?. Amcos would be happy because they would get more money but the makers of the discs wouldn't, I have just heard that Sunfly are pulling out of Australia because they can't make money here due to piracy! & Capital Karaoke don't seem to make discs anymore why?
Pioneer the makers of the best backing tracks in the world stopped production years ago due to piracy & at this rate the rest WILL follow, Should we snicker and say well I found a way around the system but I hope the rest of you continue to buy discs and keep the makers in business....Well we wont.
I believe that if you run 3 rigs you should pay the maker of the song three times, But then again I want our industry to survive.
