| From the Where2sing.com forum: I agree with ''singer from NSW '' , there are a handful of persons out there that would Not have a second thought to ''pinch ' other people music & lyrics and then ''twist & turn '' things to justify there actions .
In the old days when i was heavily involved in writing songs , for each new song i wrote for myself or the band i was in , i would write out an extra copy and place it in a envelope and get the post master to ''stamp there signature stamp with the date clearly on the back ( where the seal meets ) and front and send the letter to myself through the postal system and keep them untouched and in a secure place , this trick certainly saved one of my songs from being ''ripped-off ''' about 28 years ago.
Not sure if this would be good enough in todays world, but yeah there are sharks out there.
