Lets face it I've heard ''''Hundreds '' of singers over the years at karaoke that sing '''' better '' than many idols and in fact '''' better than many '''' pop stars ''' ( past & present ) ....Lilly Allan Lady ga ga , Pink , Melanie B & C , Holy Valance gee's the list can go on & on , just to name a few but hey !!! have i met hundreds that have ''' the package or be it the ''' Xfactor ''' or those things that go into the ''' mix ''' to become a ''' pop / rock star ...NO ... perhaps a small hand-full at best
As BarriTone would know there is a Massive difference to singing 3 or 4 songs well at karaoke to doing a ''' live paid Gig ' where you may have to do 30 to 50 songs a night and keeping the Audiences happy and dancing the whole night away , not only does you voice need to be spot-on but your whole performance needs to be outstanding , i wonder how many good karaoke singers could coup with doing 2 or 4 gigs aweek at a professional entertainers level
Gees when i do Cabaret Gigs my voice and Act takes 5 or 6 songs to get me to that ' Platform ''' of standard and then its smooth sailing the rest of the night after that .
