| From the Where2sing.com forum: i Agree Vic ...Its time for the age to go to 21 and as with smoking parents need to start taking an active roll in Disabling ( if that is a word ) there children from drinking at an early age , i heard on 3aw talk-back radio that many parents are letting there kids drink at 11 yo & onwards Total Madness !!! , but as you say 98% of good nature people pay the price for the other 2 % of dickheads and all Gov's can do is bring in tougher laws , instead of investing money , indeed poss millions if not billions to solve socialites with there problems but its the same as smokers , the Gov wackes you over the knuckles with one hand and with the other hand Grabs billions of dollars from smokers ....additions whether its alcohol , smokes or illegal drugs are ALL illnesses and should be treated from a Medical point of view.
Anyway do you think that this decision might have a flow-on effect with karaoke show or in general entertainment gigs ? , i mean will all publican take a chance and book a show if they only make the bulk of there money at around midnight and onwards ?
