Wow, 9 posts in the Vic chat section. I was blown away when I saw that.
Hi Barry Tone, Hello to you to long time no see, pity we missed your visit to Victoria but glad you had a good night with Aidy.
I would still get you and your twin mixed up if you came to our show together. Holpe you Dad is okay, good you can come down to see him. My folks are overseas in South Africa and sad when you can't just pop in for a visit when they start getting to the dependant stage.
Not sure if you heard Jay (of Jay and Audrey show who did the Boronia Disco Factory show) has had a stroke and it has affected his speech. Not sure what the recovery % is, so very sad as he loves his singing.
Hi Kev, Marco wouldn't load our car up for that kind of money ($200)for a show either. I am the softy though and organise for us to do the local RSL on a Sunday or a private function for friends around the $300 -$350 mark. I do struggle to get him to load the car for those.
China, I took a booking once for a Kooyong Club Xmas Function. Was I in trouble when I told Marco with what I quoted them. They paid almost the same for a Karaoke juke box the year before. Anyway as they were disappointed with the jukebox, they decided to hire a hosted show. Well I suppose they were happy with the price. All I can remember is trying to find parking in the pouring rain and the room was a half a mile from the entrance, which doubles when you are wearing high heels.
Marco told me because of the area and who it was I should have doubled the fee. I am an eastern suburb girl and don't get to mix much with the Toorak crowd, but have learnt a lesson from it.

Cheers Teresa
