| From the Where2sing.com forum: I tried it and I dont like it. Deans show at Panania on Friday nights is a good night if you like dancing with a little bit of karaoke. A good night if you want to see the KJ dancing ALL NIGHT, fists pumping in the air like DJ PANFA! Slapping the floor, bursting his knee caps and getting the whole crowd (of three young girls) pumped for the next song....'thats what friends are for'.....I mean, come on!! Is this a disco 'watch me' show or is this a karaoke show for the singers? If they played less dance music, I am positive they could cue up all the singers and get them all in on the night.
Don't get me started on the weak list. There were some new songs being sung which gave us hope that he had new discs on hand, BUT upon investigation, found out they belonged to the singers!!! He has new songs but 'hasn't put them in the book yet' whatever. Riding on the back fo the singers because you are too lazy or cheap to buy new discs or enter them in your slim line books.
Some postiives though:-
1) Great room
2) Big Screen
3)Smoking and non smoking
4) secure club
5) great drink prices
6) Some good singers
BUT THE KARAOKE leaves sooooo much to be desired. If the company could take this on board and improve their rotation and cut down the crappy dance music (and moves) we might consider returning. But if the club changed company we would go back in a heartbeat.
