Not sure if this helps, but if your gig frequency is set to 'every other week', it will automatically do this in a similar way as one of your gigs which I think is set for '3rd week of every month'. To change this, you would need to head back to the main 'Edit' page for that gig.
So I wonder whether you're asking to bring that 'Frequency' selection to a box next to the QuickUpdate one on your Own Gigs page, or instead whether you mean keeping the pre-set Frequency but overriding it in the shortterm for perhaps a few weeks over Christmas by turning a weekly gig into a bi-weekly, a once-monthly into a once-every-2-months, or being able to select perhaps random forward dates from within the list of dates from the existing Frequency?
