From the Where2sing.com forum:

Hi Kev

Glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself tonight, and I loved your songs, particularly the last one. You should have come up and made yourself known to me, I was sitting at the next table, I was the one in the pink.

To Barri tone. Yes Mick does have a lovely accent and it is due to him being Irish that you hear the funny pronunciation of anything with a 'th' Imagine what it is like if you are a lady and you name is 'Ruth' can you imagine how that comes out??? You guessed it!!! Mick and I were doing a show together at the Billabong Hotel in Merrylands a few years ago and there was a lovely Islander lady there who wanted to sing and her name was Ruth. You can guess how that came out. At least she had a sense of humour about it, but some other people mightn't. Now if MIck comes across that name (so far he has been lucky and there hasn't been a Ruth) but if that happens, he will hand the microphone over to Joe or whoever is on panel that night as he won't take the chance of offending people like that. It is not deliberate it is just the way it comes out.

Hope that everyone has a good week.

Roz.
