Thank you for your reply, Could you please send me your last kept results for site visits. I was not asking so venues can advertise, I am asking to find out if a venue would see the value in having a gig listing on your site, as I was at the KWC 2009 where the host asked the audience if they have heard about the Where2sing website and the majority of people did not respond. As mentioned, I post info from time to time via the News Emails - the reason being that only hosts sufficiently interested to keep abreast of the karaoke community get to read the latest figures.
People's silence when asked about W2S doesn't mean they actually don't know the site - I've even asked people privately at karaoke gigs and had the same response, then had a friend tell me 'oh, so and so is such and such (W2S nickname). Just see how information and feedback only on W2S gets around, and you'll likely work it out for yourself.
There's no need for venues to list their gigs, as many are listed and controlled by singers - that's the power of the W2S gig-control system, that the person listing it first, and most consistent in its upkeep, is the person who controls the listing.
