| From the Where2sing.com forum: The whole point would be to celebrate our singers and host . Mostly w2s members . It would be a matter perhapes of a host putting a willing name forward. The only way someone should think we are taking the piss out of them is to do just that, take the piss out of them. I can not remember the Pappa frank story but do remember the energizer one.
The idea is to move towards a positive light when it come to our singers and host and to attempt to create a w2s that is perhapes a little more fun , personal, and strives to put everyone one on a stage to be applauded. As we do i real life .. Ya know
Not somewhere that inorder to be a superstar you need some sort of measure stick to do so.
If we wish to look or veiw with a negitive eye then we will never see any good in trying to change the culture of this site.
There may be thoses that would continue with putting singers down by not fully understanding that they ARE superstars.
As like the poster belows statement suggest. and yes it does sound patronising because it is.

I dont think as host we should put ourselves above others nor judge our singers.
Lets break up the word Patronising.. Funny PATRON I SING short for : I am the PATRON and I SING and i am your superstar
Or perhapes the word means. We want to bring more patrons to w2s hence we are trying to personalise and Patronise this site.
I am happy to contribute towards warming up this site , Ive got some matches anyone else got some wood.
All the kings horses and all the kings men could attempt to improve the culture of w2s by technical , fancy , computor talk like mega bite, ram , memory and flash pics . Give it a personal touch first then its all well worth the rest
