In the town i live in there are 4 pubs .....2 are open all day ....one has only bar trade & T.A.B but no ''' lounge '' trade at all , the 2nd one has lounge trade ( lunch & dinner ) but very little bar trade , the other 2 don't even bother opening on Mon & Tues and then they both don't even open until 4 pm on those days ( thanks largely to the recent no smoking laws ) , mate it is a Jail sentence for some of these operators already , who would own a country pub ?
