| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi all, just thought i'd say hi to Vic & to reassure him that there is no conspiracy at work here. LB is quite correct in stating that over the years we've been blessed with a large core of loyal singers that like what we do at Chatswood RSL, it does'nt mean we do it any better than anyone else, but I do believe we are consistantly good, not singularly brilliant.
I know David cant disclose those that vote , but I would bet money on the fact that the majority of our voters have been around since day 1 of W2S & possibly vote now out of a combination of loyalty, friendship & habit, which is why I dont have to plug anyone to vote for us. In fact the 'plugging' would appear to be more the domain of the new comers that leap to the number 1 spot after 2 weeks of trading, only to fade into oblivion 3 weeks later !
Oh btw Vic, I would kill for a 45/200 ratio. Lately we've been more around the 45/70. So the loyalty aspect does'nt just start & finish with the patrons, it also requires your venues to show that same loyalty & patience when you get a few slow nights happening.
