| From the Where2sing.com forum: Its been my experience that (in the Valley) that even though its a very busy area ...without some form of attraction (Karaoke) ....venues tend to miss out on passing traffic and usually close early (Excluding Sat night when they all go mad for no apparent reason other than its Sat night??).
I have always believed that in the first place ...a venue must be appealing enough to be able to attract patrons....be it either with cheap meals and appealing surroundings/location or whatever....then as a Karaoke operator its my Job to Keep them there!!!...have you ever noticed its far easier to attract people into a BUSY bar than a quiet one?...despite all other things being equal....and so the snowball effect starts there
