From the Where2sing.com forum:

Usually what happens is you will get early singers, they are usually your regulars for the venue or host regulars (like myself sometimes). In the case of Horsham, this could be say about only 5 or so singers. Your initial rush may then come about 30 mins later. This could produce up to 10-20 singers. In this case, the regulars take a back seat for some new blood and then the regs come back once they have cleared. If any new singers liked what they did on stage, they usually come back for more, therefore going into the next rotation automatically. But usually you will get a 2to1 drop off rate and therefore your next rotation will be twice as quick. From there things usually level out. So for the examples asked, you could get at peak 20 an hour putting their name down, but the ones who are up to speed on how the show runs may put down 3-5 songs at once. But unlike the gig I saw Sunday where you had a certain time limit to put your songs in, the Horsham show allows you to submit a song anytime until they deem the show full. (This usually happens about 1hr to 30 mins before close.) So from all this your rotations may be anything from 40-70 mins long (hence why last time I was there I was able to squeeze in 5 songs in the 4-5 hr period of the show) and you should be able to still do about your standard 10-12 singers an hour depending on song length. So about 60 songs usually performed by up to 20-30 different performers (assuming alot of one off singers, which is common at that show). Hope that helps.
