| From the Where2sing.com forum: David gee's judging by your newsletter , i can see that you are on a '' campaign '' to see the end of the sales of discs & people using them ASAP , but i still scratch my head wondering whats all the fuss about and why you have a '''Bee '' in your bonnet ? , now perhaps I'm going to the wrong shows but i have yet to find a computer show that is remarkably better in song choice , rotation , better sound or anything else that goes into the making of a ''' good '' karaoke , sorry but I'm still waiting to see what all the fuss is about , the shows with discs always have heaps more songs to choose from , there seems to be less '' pregnant pluses ' at discs shows ( but that could because the more older and experience operators still run discs ) , no difference in sound because that depend on certain systems and '' know how '' , but don't get me wrong here i too if i was starting out & / or have many future years left in the game would for sure go to computers , no worries , gees over my life i have ''change-over '' 4 times with ''new systems '' and indeed i run a computer set-up at home , yet i haven't as yet seen the remarkable differences i seen with the other change-overs ( Audio tape / cassette tape / LD / vcd , cdg dvd ..
I said to Wolf if people started demanding '' computer '' karaoke ' one could buy a second hand laptop and just place there '' song list ' on and display that and kept the JVC under the desk and no-one would ever know your using discs , if you are careful about it lol
.....now now before you computer whiz bangers jump on my case remember i am retired and in my early 50's so i think i'm '' alright at computers '' but mate i'm no whizz banger at it lol so please talk in '' layman's language
