| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Vic, yes I know, absurd as the rules are, I had a very lengthy discussion about this with APRA a while back, all rather strange, considering you retire your discs when they are copied to hard drive and such. I also find it crazy that you pay this fee to cover the copyright on format shifting the track, yet at no point do they request a list of the tracks you are format shifting so as to pay the royalties to the correct ppl, but I am sure someone is making money at our expense none the less... However to be legal it is required..
