From the Where2sing.com forum:

I'm not, just for your patrons or in other words, my fellow singers. I just got the impression that you would let a venue manager tell you how to run your show. If that isn't the case well I stand corrected. But if not, would you tell him how to run his pub or club? I just can't see why any venue manager could even think that it would be beneficial to ask the host to do a set amount of songs per night. I too can understand starting a new set with one from the host, especially if the crowd aren't responding, but no more than 3 or 4 maximum depending on the length of the show.

Or visit the forums where both singers and hosts meet and chat - including State-chat forums where you can make friends whom you'll meet up with at a venue near you.

And there are the Gig Reviews, the constantly updated 'National Top 10 Karaoke Venues' chart, specialised lists of venues for Under 18s and currently running Competitions, lists for karaoke rooms, restaurants, karaoke hosts and supplliers, and karaoke news from all around the world.
