| From the Where2sing.com forum: David.....''' hosts sitting on there arses''''' ....Perhaps there is an old fashion way of hosting and a ''' new wave ''' of hosting now , these days ....Wolf is a one person operator he goes out to the audience at least 8 times through the night ...Dennis ( when he used discs ) gees we would have to yell at him that the song is almost over lol and tell to spend more time at his gear lol back then he was mostly one person operator ...Chris .. one person operator goes out many many times maybe a dozen times ... Bob ..about a dozen times , myself at least a dozen times and there's more , they all run pretty good rotations , punters hold them all with great respect and they seldom miss a beat all are / were discs operators of many many years experience who not only make an effort to ''meet & greet '' but also communicate directly with there patrons , so i scratch my head and wonder why when there are two people running a show the person on the laptop seems to never move away from the bloody thing ( the ones i've seen ) ( sometimes the second person makes an effort ) but hey things have changed with this important past of hosting .
