| From the Where2sing.com forum: Thebarman ....I must say i've seen the same thing oh so many times and why its happens who knows ? , sometimes the host does even know they are doing it i think lol , i was at a Melb show late last year on a table of 6 friends , got there at around 9pm ( show just started by what the door person said ) 3 at the table got to do a song somewhere as the night went along but others who seemed to be '''' regulars '' mostly had 2 songs and one young lady who they seemed to be promoting ( you know telling us how great of a singer she was ..blar blar blar ) yeah right ! hmmmm got up 3 or 4 times , anyway midnight came & went and no further songs in sight so we finished drinks and went home , lucky we were in Melb for another reason because i would have Not been pleased traveling 900 kms for one song lol , but it has always been a Big problem this thing you speak off and just about every singer i have spoke to about it have some bad experience with unfair rotations ..
Although the worst rotation experiences for me is when you get to a venue early and the host '' uses you up '' until more people arrive and then they ''' forget '' you are there and you get by passed on the rotation list because you may have sung 2 or 3 songs in those early part of the night when there is few or no-one to listen to your singing , gees that gets '' up my noise '''
